The CalFauna Foundation is a 501(c)(3) recognized non-profit organization that improves conditions for native wildlife populations across the Golden State. This is accomplished by conducting important habitat projects, promoting environmentally-conscience economic development in rural communities, educating our citizens, and by assisting other non-profits in managing their properties for wildlife. Rejuvinating habitats after a wildfire or from abuse or neglect is a main directive of the CalFauna Foundation.

About

California is one of the most biologically diverse regions on Earth. We are home to more wildlife species than any other state. We are also home to over 38 million people. The CalFauna Foundation was developed to enhance wildlife populations and habitats.

Habitat Grants

The CalFauna Foundation has received approval for three significant habitat grants in California. Two of these grants are through Califonia Department of Fish and Wildlife and the other is through California Deer Association.

Research Grants

The CalFauna Foundation is currently working on a grant sponsored by the CA Deer Association to research the effect of the illegal cannabis grows on our native deer herds.

Donate

As a non-profit organization, we depend on donations from like-minded persons to conduct our valuable work. If you believe our state's wildlife species need a helping hand to enhance their populations and the habitats they depend on, please donate today.

When you think of wildlife, think of HABITAT!
